Andover 1st Baptist Church is a member of the American Baptist Churches of New York State, while we function as an independent body of believers. We are a small community church reaching out to a large variety of people.
As a Baptist Church we have a congregational type of church government and engage in quarterly business meetings to decide on issues for the Church. We are self governing; believing that we are responsible only to our risen Lord. We believe that as those who follow Christ, we are called to serve Him. Within our Church there are many opportunities to serve the Lord in various ministries. We offer lift access from the street to the sanctuary or the fellowship hall for those unable to manage stairs.
